About Mason
With 14 years of experience teaching piano to students from school to college, I am deeply passionate about both music and education. My journey as a tutor has been incredibly rewarding, as I've had the privilege of helping students develop their skills and discover the joy of playing music. I believe that music is a powerful tool for personal growth, and I strive to create an environment where students feel inspired and confident. Over the years, I've taught a diverse range of students, from beginners to advanced musicians, and have guided them in exploring different genres such as classical, jazz, and pop. My goal is not just to teach piano but to inspire a love for music that lasts a lifetime. One of my proudest milestones was seeing several of my students perform in recitals and competitions, showcasing their hard work and dedication. My passion for teaching and commitment to my students’ success drives me to continue growing and improving as a tutor.

My teaching methodology for piano focuses on flexibility, motivation, and cultural sensitivity. I adapt lessons to suit each student’s pace and learning style, whether they are beginners or more advanced players. I aim to keep students motivated by setting clear goals and celebrating their progress. I also incorporate diverse musical genres, ensuring cultural sensitivity and exposure to various styles, from classical to jazz and modern music. Besides piano, I can also teach music theory and sight-reading to provide a well-rounded musical education.
