About Lianne

I started playing flute when I was nine years old, and it has been one of my greatest passions ever since! I am currently the Principal Flautist of the Hoff Barthelson Festival Orchestra and my high school's Honors Wind Ensemble, and served as principal flute for Westchester’s Area-All State Symphony Orchestra last season. I have also won platinum and gold prizes in the Universal Stars Music Competition and a Blue Ribbon Award from the New York Flute Club Young Musicians Contest.

I have also taught weekly flute lessons for younger students and led music workshops at school. I love teaching music and am very excited to begin studying for a degree in music education in college next year. I understand the challenges of learning an instrument and preparing for performances/auditions, and I deeply enjoy helping others improve and succeed in their music journey. My goal is to provide you with structured yet flexible lessons and a supportive environment to help you grow as a musician.

I'm a dedicated high school musician (soon to be studying music education in college!) with several years of performance, competition, and audition experience offering engaging and tailored online lessons for all levels. Whether you need help preparing for performances/competitions/auditions, want to work on your technique, just want to experience the joy from playing music, I'll help you reach your goals through personalized lessons so you can take your flute playing to the next level!
