About Viviane

I am Brazilian-Portuguese.
I have a law degree obtained at the Paulista University in São Paulo, Brazil.
As a lawyer, I gained invaluable experience as an intern for governmental institutions for 5 years and worked for a race car team category like F-3 South American and Renault Formula Brazil.
I have been working in different market sectors in three different countries gaining international experience. It is about over 20 years of combined experience in the aviation, legal, medical and tourism industry.
In the aviation industry, I worked for various airlines. After 10 years at a Brazilian Airline in São Paulo, Brazil, I moved to Portugal in 2006 where I continued for the next 5 years in Lisbon, Portugal working for Dutch, Portuguese and Moldovan Airlines.
In 2011, I moved to South Africa to follow my husband. I started at a small company as public relations and interpreter of Angolan clients visiting South Africa for medical & tourism reasons. I was also involved with the BRICS and Brazilian Delegation Visit in South Africa in the same year with a role as an event coordinator and interpreter to delegates. In 2013, I started as an incident manager and account handler of an American International Insurance Company. I was responsible for managing the insurance account and incidents of GBG members (GBG - Global Benefit Group) in Angola. Members with international polices were also assisted in Portugal and Brazil. I have travelled to Angola to participate in crucial meetings with brokers and providers.
In 2015, I started as a customer service executive for International SOS in a medical field with the responsibility of managing medical requests, translating and interpreting. International SOS Johannesburg is a 24-hour assistance centre and the regional head office for sub-Saharan Africa, supporting offices in Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Madagascar, Kenya, Nigeria and Namibia. The International SOS South Africa assistance centre in Johannesburg specialises in delivering medical assistance, evacuation and speciality services throughout South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa for corporations in industries including energy, mining and large-scale infrastructure, aviation and maritime, banking and finance, government and the public sector, and non-governmental organisations, as well as individual travellers, expatriates and their families.
I left International SOS in 2016 after having a child and decided to dedicate my time to the family.
In 2018, I started a new professional chapter joining Journey Beyond as an African Travel Designer, expertise consultant position which required to assist customer in organizing travel arrangements from end-to-end for the high-end clients in the luxury travel industry. In addition, I have attended some sight inspections travels to build destination knowledge beside of uncountable leisure travels around the world.
Journey Beyond is a tour operator and the company designs travels for customers that want to visit South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, East Africa and Indian Ocean Islands. Unfortunately, at the end of July 2020 due to the Corona Virus Outbreak, I was retrenched and now I have decided to dedicate my time teaching Portuguese and passing the experience that I had living and visiting Portuguese Speaking countries.

About the lesson

I have my own material that is tailored according the student language development with an extensive knowledge gained during the time I lived in Brazil and Portugal and experiences that I got from travels from Angola and Mozambique.
Material can be adjusted as per students' needs.
