About Mackenzie
I am a vocal teacher with 6 years of teaching experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. I enjoy helping students discover their natural voice while building strong musical skills. Every lesson is planned around your goals, learning pace, and musical interests.
I teach different singing styles so you can explore the music you enjoy the most. Along with singing, I help students improve ear training, harmony, music theory, and improvisation. These skills make learning easier and help you become a more complete musician.
Many students tell me they feel more confident after just a few weeks because they understand what they are doing instead of simply copying songs. I remember working with a student who was nervous about singing in front of family, and after regular practice, they performed confidently at a small celebration. Moments like these remind me why I love teaching.
I believe learning should feel encouraging, enjoyable, and rewarding. My lessons give you practical techniques that you can use every time you sing. My goal is to help you become a confident singer with strong musicianship that lasts for years.

As The Quartet Player, I help you develop the confidence needed to sing comfortably with others while staying true to your own voice. As The Fiddler, I encourage creativity, expression, and the freedom to connect naturally with every performance. Each lesson is designed to help you feel prepared before stepping onto any stage.
We spend time improving breath control, clear diction, and relaxed posture because these skills support every great performance. I also teach microphone technique so your voice stays balanced and natural in different venues. We practice audience engagement through simple activities that make performing feel less stressful and more enjoyable.
Song choices are carefully matched to your current ability so you gain confidence with every performance. Movement exercises help you look comfortable on stage instead of standing still. I often share examples from local performances where simple body language made a singer feel much more confident.
Video feedback allows you to notice small improvements that are easy to miss during practice. Stage presence drills help you build natural charisma one step at a time. Vocal stamina apps are included to help you track healthy practice habits and improve endurance. My goal is for every student to leave each lesson believing they can step onto a stage with confidence, connect with the audience, and truly enjoy singing.
