About Ayush

I am a dedicated tabla artist trained in the pure Lucknow Gharana tradition, with over 13 years of experience in the art of tabla.

I have achieved a 5-year diploma with First Division (Distinction) from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, which has provided me with strong classical foundations and disciplined training.

In recognition of my skills and performance, I was awarded a Gold Medal at the Delhi South-West Zone (2021 and 2024), reflecting my commitment and excellence in tabla.

My musical journey has been rooted in both technical precision and expressive playing, and I strive to pass on this depth of knowledge to my students through structured and meaningful teaching.

I believe in maintaining the authenticity of the gharana while making learning accessible and enjoyable for modern students.

About the lesson

I offer structured and engaging online tabla classes for beginners as well as intermediate learners, with a strong focus on building clear fundamentals and rhythmic understanding.

With over 13 years of experience in tabla, along with a 5-year diploma from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, I bring both practical expertise and classical training into my teaching. I have also been awarded a district-level gold medal, reflecting my dedication and proficiency in tabla.

My teaching method is step-by-step and highly personalized. Beginners will start with basic bols such as Na, Tin, Dha, and simple taals like Teentaal and Keherwa. As students progress, they will learn advanced concepts including kayda, rela, tukda, and accompaniment techniques.

Each student receives structured practice notes, regular guidance, and feedback to ensure steady improvement. My aim is not only to teach compositions but to develop proper technique, timing, and confidence in every student.

Classes are conducted online in a simple and interactive manner, making learning comfortable and effective from home. Whether you are starting from zero or looking to refine your skills, these classes are designed to help you grow with clarity and confidence.

A free demo class is available for new students.
