About Matthew
I am a postdoctoral cancer researcher with years of scientific teaching, communication, and mentoring experience. During my PhD I developed a new cancer therapy to improve how radiation treatment works for cancer patients.
I want to help teach the next generation of aspiring scientists.

I have more than 6 years of scientific communication experience to diverse audiences through different forums e.g social media, television, newspaper, and lay scientific talks.
My teaching approach focuses on strengthening fundamental understanding of complex scientific topics through the use of analogies, as opposed to memory techniques.
