I bring more than five years of experience teaching piano, supported by a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a focus on Pedagogy. My lessons emphasise fluency in sight-reading, careful score analysis, and the ability to interpret repertoire with both precision and emotional depth. This approach helps students build not just performance ability but also deeper musical awareness. I work closely with The Exam Taker to ensure they can apply theory precisely in testing situations. For The Classical Performer, lessons focus on using harmonic understanding to bring out phrasing and interpretation. My sessions are structured to be clear but also adaptable to different learning goals. I encourage creativity by introducing composition and improvisation tasks where theory is used actively. This makes lessons practical, interactive, and rewarding. Students learn to view music as both logical and expressive. My goal is to help each learner feel comfortable navigating both simple and complex scores. With steady practice, theory becomes second nature and performance gains depth. Together, we’ll make piano study an exciting combination of knowledge, technique, and artistry.
