I provide students with knowledge as well as insights in the subjects I am teaching.
My teaching methods focus more on Analytical skill building and learning, and solving problems based on real world scenarios. Also, for Arithmetic learning for high school students, I focus more on solving problems by hand rather than teaching via slides.
I am very familiar with the British Columbia Ministry of Education Mathematics Curriculum K-12, and have the necessary materials to help students comprehend fully, as well as succeed in their respective Mathematics courses in school. I believe that with Mathematics, high school Mathematics especially, are heavily dependent on practice and repetition for complete understanding of the concepts.
I am flexible in the content we discuss. You bring your questions and we will work through them together. If there’s something I cannot answer I will find the answer before our next meeting.
I always adjust my lessons based on student needs. I use SMART goals and have a variety of diagnostics to start, no matter what age or level. I plan my lessons with the student's goals and specific needs in mind in order to achieve their desired language skills efficiently.
I listen to the students very carefully. Everyone learns in different ways, and it's important to match teaching styles to learning styles. I believe that there are no wrong questions because there is nothing too simple to need clarification about.
I offer developmental drum lessons for individuals based on the techniques and methods I learned from my own instructors through the years. I believe that the best way to learn the drums is to learn and practice a diversity of genres before deciding to specialize, and to build one's skill from a "bottom up" methodology.
My class is structured around the needs of the individual. Whether expository, persuasive or narrative essays, I have experience and examples of high level work to provide hands-on experience. This class is primarily for students with a specific task, for example a final paper or exam, although ongoing classes to improve writing skills can be arranged as well.
My methods combine what I have learned in my 8 years of learning foreign languages. A first assessment will determine whether you are a visual (seeing), auditory (listening), kinesthetic (touching) or reading/writing learner. While all methods will be used to tutor, this assessment will help shape the curriculum to best suit you.
Start from scratch and make a strong base and them proceed with the concepts to grasp the Advanced knowledge.
I like to follow the school(if applicable) syllabus and try to explain each and every topic with time, care and examples. I personally feel students understand better when explanations are backed with examples. I try to assess students improvement by taking regular short quizzes.
Honestly, I'm new to tutoring. As an athlete, I am very team-oriented and work very well with others. When studying for midterms or finals, I am constantly helping others understand the material. I am very patient, and love to see others succeed.
"Teach Peace, Choose Love!" I focus on correcting posture for healing chronic pain, breathing techniques, meditation, visualization & chakra balancing. I enjoy working with a wide range of demographics including all ages. I am well trained in modifications and skilled at customizing.
My teaching methods are most up to date. I believe in breaking down the concepts of any subject and giving them in bits to students.
I have an extremely focused approach that also makes me stand out in the following areas: 1. The most recent (actual) exams. If you prepare for 1 month, you will find many similar questions (almost 90%) in your exam as a result of the training. 2. Strategies that are given to us by IELTS/TOEFL/CELPIP/CELBAN/Cantest/English examiners. 3. Homework and some excellent test samples. 4.
I base my classes on Oral teaching and practice sets.
WE LISTEN TOGETHER-WE READ TOGETHER-WE WRITE TOGETHER- WE PRESENT & WE DISCUSS TOGETHER... This process goes in a rhythm & hence is my methodology for a subject with common sense.
I base my teaching methods on what works best for the individual student. If examples are how you learn, then we will do as many examples as it takes in order for you to understand it. If pictures are more your thing, then I will draw concepts for you until you understand them.
I like to make things fun yet controlled. A professional lesson structure is important, but not if the students are bored. With me, expect things to be fun and exciting, but also expect to be on the right track as well.
Students always come to me with an objective and I help them to succeed. I start by helping them solve assignments and previous tests; If we detect some topic to work on I propose "basic but powerful" examples and build from simple to advanced. I also have a special -boot camp menu- if needed. We can also revisit fundamentals from scratch if you want to build a strong core.
My teaching methodologies are helping students to learn Chinese grammer and words through storytelling. It is from easy to hard and flexible.
My teaching methodology is that doing math comes naturally as long as you put in the work. I will try to spark interest in the student about math.
I would love to help in a complete subject with basic ideas and elaboration. I would like to give lectures too. I want to cover more doubts and questions. Plus, feedback is always welcomed.
I love to teach one-on-one but am flexible with group work as well. We will talk through assignments, set goals, work through problems and do homework together. Get ready for college application season this fall! We can tackle long essays together and work through short answer questions so you're ready to meet application deadlines.
I break down complex math problems into simple managable phases. Approaching each problem as a set of steps not as a whole.
I give clear verbal instruction, optional physical adjustments and demonstrate proper alignment. Yoga classes include grounding meditation, breathing exercises, and either vigorous vinyasa flow or relaxed, step-by-step hatha. Classes are for both beginner and intermediate students of all ages.
My approach is structured but flexible to the student's needs and pace. I use imagery and drawings often. The music I teach is a mixture of classical and folk. The end goal is whatever the student and myself set at the beginning, whether it's to be able to play five pieces or to be able to perform.
I base my classes on the student’s needs, while trying my best to help them fulfill what their teachers are looking for on a quiz/ assignment/ test
I have been a baby sitter and tutor for my little sister and a couple of her friends almost all my life. I can work with one or more children at the same time. I can cook snacks for them, help them do their homework after school, and even put them to bed if need be. I can also take them to, and pick them up from, any extra curricular classes they may have.
I have been a life long teacher for my younger sister and her friends during their exam seasons. I find that making fun worksheets for them to solve through is very helpful. It isn't boring, which is why the student enjoys studying, and is also very helpful to remember things. We all tend to forget the boring pages in the picture-less textbooks more often than the colourful ones.
