About Zac

I am an Economics student at the University of Bath with a strong academic background in Maths and related subjects. I have a genuine enjoyment of problem-solving, and helping others understand and break down difficult topics too.

I have one year of experience volunteering as a Maths tutor at school, where I worked with a range of ages and abilities of maths students, to build their confidence and improve their understanding over a variety of topics.

I am friendly, patient and approachable, and I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as that is how we learn!

About the lesson

I offer GCSE and A-Level Maths tutoring tailored to each student's ability, goals and learning style. I focus on identifying and solving key problem areas for the student, taking it back to the key underlying concepts where necessary. We can then work through worked examples and guided practice with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Lessons are typically 1 hour, although I am happy to be flexible.

I achieved 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics at A-Level and have one year of experience volunteering as a Maths tutor at school. Lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students of all abilities.
