I studied Religious Studies since primary school and received A* in my A-level. My modules also covered Philosophy and Ethics so I have an in-depth understanding of all 3 areas. I am hoping do a master degree in Religious Studies in the upcoming future.

I have great experience as working with children and young people. I had weeks of work experience at my local nursery that looked after children before , during and after school. I also volunteered at a primary school for months teaching English and RE. Before lockdown I tutored GCSE students for their upcoming exams in my free-time. I believe that often a student helping another student can be more useful than a teacher's help, because they have taken the exam recently and can share and explain their understanding of the subject in a way that's easier for their peers. This is especially the case with exams becoming increasingly more difficult over the past years and the changes to the grading system.
I will be providing a number of resources for the students including pre-tasks as well as homeworks so ensure that they understand and engage with the content. I will also talk to the student about their studying skills and what sort of teaching works the best for them.
