About Sophie
I am a sixth form student (Year 12) currently undertaking A Levels in Maths, Chemistry & French for which I am predicted A*s. I believe the encouragement of students reaching their full potential, academically and creatively is vital, and I would love to be able to help them do so. I have a strong passion for the subjects I'm taking and I really enjoy transferring the things I have learnt through my years of study to other students.

Every student is different, so I work with each individual to pinpoint areas to work on and establish what level of understanding they have currently. I approach each topic by first explaining key concepts and building the foundation knowledge necessary to understand them. Then, moving on to exam questions to consolidate the students understanding and apply the skills they have learnt, to ensure they know what they will need to be able to do in their exams and how to pick up marks. I have a relaxed and patient teaching style, and adapt my methods to correspond with what works most effectively for each student. All while making every lesson as interesting and enjoyable as possible!
