About Oscar
I'm a first year A-Level student currently studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science. Having achieved seven grade 9s at GCSE level, along with one grade 8 and two grade 7s, I'm in the perfect place to confidently educate students in their GCSE years in my subjects.
Since a young age, I've found the moment when a difficult concept finally clicks for someone to be immensely satisfying and I've practiced, to great enjoyment, the skill of explaining these difficult concepts in all topics and subjects to my friends and family. Through this, I've learned how to teach people effectively and in an engaging manner, taking great pride in helping people with their competence and confidence in subjects.

One-to-one tutoring for GCSE level students in England (Years 10/11 at secondary school).
Every session, I will focus on aspects of the course's content that the student is currently struggling with or help them to identify these weaker areas using past exam papers or practice questions if they're unsure. Armed with this information, I find it massively helpful to ensure students understand exactly what content they're required to remember and fully understand the methods they need before answering questions and applying this knowledge on a particular topic.
My lessons will ensure that in 1 hour, students joining with concerns in a particular area will leave with the necessary knowledge and confidence for them to succeed and excel in their subject. I achieved a grade 9 in Maths, Physics and Computer science at GCSE level and continue to study these three subject now as A-levels; this has provided me with a broad understanding of not only the knowledge required in each course, but also the many different pathways and methods used to solidify that knowledge and become confident and comfortable using it in exams.
