my lessons, I focus on creating a clear, supportive, and engaging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and build their understanding. For Maths, I begin with a quick recap to check prior knowledge, then break down each topic into simple steps. I use worked examples, interactive exercises, and exam-style questions to help students not only understand the concepts but also apply them effectively. For Chemistry, I combine theory with practical examples to make complex ideas easier to grasp. I often use diagrams, real-life applications, and exam questions to strengthen problem-solving skills and improve exam technique. My lessons are personalised: I identify areas where the student struggles and tailor the teaching pace accordingly. I also give short review tasks at the end of each lesson to reinforce learning and set achievable homework to consolidate progress. Overall, my aim is to help students gain both knowledge and confidence, so they can perform at their best in exams and develop a genuine interest in the subjects.
