About Lincoln

For me, dance is way more than just movement—it's a language that can only be understood within the context of the performance and its audience. Every time there is a creative task at hand it is not for the self-gratification of the individual performing or the satisfaction of the audience members, but rather an explanation of this language. My goal is to help you understand movement and choreograph in a way that makes this translation as easy as possible. Contemporary - Techniques and movement qualities based on the shifting of weight and the understanding of the body. Let's talk about the old and the new ages of contemporary and how to get you, as the student, to the point of confidence whether it's in auditions or in practice! Choreography - Choreographic Strategies and Movement Generation. Gain knowledge based on my choreographic mentors and inspirations.
