About Dale
Dale Watson is a Saxophonist based in Columbia, South Carolina. He is originally from Forest Acres SC and is attending university at Converse University for a double major in music and economics. Dale has studied the saxophone for 9 years, and has experience playing soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone in various large ensembles and chamber groups. Dale has been featured as a soloist with the SCGSAH choir, and the Spartanburg Master chorale. His wealth of experience has translated to a successful and well rounded saxophone pedagogy. Throughout his career he has studied with Dr. Kyra Zhang, and Prof. Karen Hill, and has played for: Clifford Leaman, Matt Olson,. Matthew Castner, and Ellen Breakfield Glick. His teaching experience includes student teaching with the lawson academy, teaching saxophone with spartanburg highschool, and SCBDA region audition masterclasses with Petrie School of Music.
