About Sienna
For the past 18 years, I have been dedicated to teaching piano to high school students, college learners, and elderly adults. During this time, I have taught around 150–200 students, each with unique goals and learning styles. My passion for education has guided me to create lessons that are simple, clear, and enjoyable so students can learn without pressure. One major milestone in my career has been helping students prepare for recitals and music exams, where many achieved excellent results.
I love seeing students reach moments of success—whether it’s playing their first full song, mastering a new technique, or gaining confidence in their abilities. I believe music education is a powerful tool that brings joy and growth. My mission is to support every student through their musical journey and to help them discover the beauty and confidence that come from learning piano.

My teaching method is built on making music understandable through real-life examples and simple explanations. I use short case studies and everyday comparisons to help students quickly grasp ideas like dynamics, articulation, and chord progressions. Motivation is a key part of my lessons. I work to build a friendly, positive learning space where students feel confident asking questions and exploring new skills. Small wins are celebrated, helping students stay inspired. Problem-solving is important in my teaching. When a student struggles with a section, we focus on finding the root of the problem—finger strength, timing, reading, or technique—and we fix it step by step.
This builds strong musicianship. I teach with integrity by giving honest feedback and guiding students in a respectful way. Flexibility is also essential. I adjust my methods depending on whether the student learns best visually, by listening, or through repetition. I can also teach related topics such as theory, rhythm training, and musical creativity with the same practical, student-first approach.
