About Heidi
I discovered my love of physics at the end of high school and have never looked back. I began tutoring and teaching laboratory classes in college, and ran my own labs in graduate school. For my Master's degree I developed a physics laboratory curriculum for college students who have little experience with physics or mathematics. Since math is the language of physics, I have taken all of the major classes including the Calculus series, ODEs and PDEs, Linear Algebra, and Statistics. I am also skilled in experimentation and the research process. I look forward to meeting new students and helping them build their skillsets!

My teaching methods involve utilizing strengths and supporting weaknesses, developing problem-solving tools that work for each individual, and fostering motivation and a sense of wonder for physics and mathematics.
A typical lesson usually involves practice problems and mini-experiments, and may include other tools such as short videos to meet individual learning styles.
I tutor students from high school to college studying any mathematics or physics course, my strengths are Intro Physics, Classical Mechanics, Calculus, Differential Equations, and Trigonometry.
