About Madeeha

I've spent close to a decade studying, researching, and teaching physics. I hold an MSc in Physics from Jamia Millia Islamia and pursued a PhD at Texas Tech University in the US, where I ran introductory physics labs as a Teaching Assistant. Before that, I tutored students from Class 8 through university level across India.
I take teaching seriously: showing up prepared, explaining things clearly, and making sure a concept has truly landed before moving on. I'm patient, organized, and I pay attention to where each student is actually struggling.
I scored an outstanding 117 out of 120 on the TOEFL, including a full 30 out of 30 in the speaking section, so I bring strong communication skills alongside a solid grasp of the subject. I also help students prepare for standardized exams. Most of all, I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, because that's where real understanding begins.
Whether you're catching up, staying ahead, or preparing for an important exam, I'll bring that same commitment to your lessons.

I'm a physics educator with an MSc in Physics from Jamia Millia Islamia and a year of PhD study at Texas Tech University, where I taught introductory physics labs to undergraduates. Before that I spent several years tutoring school and college students back in India.
Here's how I like to teach. In one of my lab sessions at Texas Tech, I sat on a rotatable chair holding a spinning flywheel, and when I tilted it, the chair started turning on its own—just from the torque. The students' minds were blown. That one moment made the whole session fun, and I'd bet none of them have forgotten how angular momentum works since. That's what I chase in every lesson. Physics isn't a pile of formulas to memorize; it's the thing quietly running the whole world around us. You just need the right way of seeing it.
So I teach intuition first, math second. I'll connect a concept to something you can actually picture, and only once the idea clicks do we bring in the equations. Then we solve problems together—me guiding at first, then stepping back until you're doing it on your own.
A typical lesson: I check what you already know, find the gaps, explain the day's topic with diagrams and real examples, and then we work through problems side by side. We finish with a quick recap and a bit of practice for you to try solo. When it helps, I'll use Python or a simple simulation to make an abstract idea something you can see.
What sets me apart? Besides physics, I've done coursework in Python, machine learning, and data science, so I can bring a computational angle in when it fits. I've taught in both the US and India, mentored students through exams like the TOEFL and GRE, and I'm patient with the parts people usually get stuck on—because I remember getting stuck there too.
Who it's for: high school students (Grades 8–12, including IGCSE, CBSE, and A-Level), and undergraduates covering mechanics, kinematics, energy and momentum, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, waves, and optics. I also help with test prep and first-year university physics. Tell me your goal and we'll build the sessions around it.
