Carla is a great piano teacher. She taught my son for 3 years, made the lessons fun, and kept him motivated. She was also great at selecting repertoire that he enjoyed. We were very sad to leave her when we moved, and we have struggled to find a replacement ever since. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

I first met Carla when I took over her piano and voice students at a local Conservatoire. Across the board, her students had incredible aural skills, able to quickly pick up melodies simply by hearing them once or twice. One of our students received 100% in the aural portion of their ABRSM piano exam, which is very impressive!

Carla had also impressed upon her students the importance of practice and building good practice habits. The students were focused and dedicated when I began teaching them, and it's clear Carla worked with them to develop habits that suited them. She incorporates theory into her teaching, allowing students to understand theory in context rather than the abstract.

Carla is also a great performer, able to demonstrate what she's asking to her students, which is a massive plus.

Carla has covered some of my piano and singing teaching in recent months and the students found her to be a very friendly, engaging and encouraging tutor.

Carla is a talented trained classical pianist with a soft spot for RnB. She is easily able to train a child through their grades (my daughter) as she is a talentless adult beginner (me) learn his favourite songs through breaking down chords and rhythm to easily learnable chunks.
