About Marlene

I have a degree in Linguistics and a Master in Portuguese as a Foreign Language, both from the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, Portugal. Teaching Portuguese since 2012, I have experience in teaching at all levels and have worked with over 30 different nationalities.

About the lesson

My classes are prepared according to individual student’s characteristics, needs and goals in order to help the students 1) improving their communication skills; 2) advancing their vocabulary 3) improving their grammar 4) improving their accent and 5) building their speaking confidence.
My main goal is to create a successful, effective and enjoyable experience for all my students.
