About Jatin
Mix/Master engineer, producer, renown educator, acclaimed acoustic & electric guitarist, Jatin is a modern day “Renaissance Man of Music”. An ace guitarist, as well as a distinctive songwriter, his music runs the gamut of diversity. He comes armed with raw tone and pure grit that he can turn on a dime into silky smooth guitar melodies. His youthful energy and attention to song structure and melodic content elevates him above the rest. A prolific educator with the ability to communicate sophisticated musical concepts in a very clear and accessible manner that transcends language barriers.
Winner of prestigious tournaments, Jatin has performed and recorded with some of blues and jazz’s most commanding players in Asia & Europe. Whether a hobbyist or professional, I am confident I can tailor a learning path forward for you that will raise your overall level of fretboard knowledge, musicianship skills, improvisation language and repertoire. The lessons that I design for my students are mindful of making the content immediately applicable for them on a jam session or a gig and will help you get your playing foundation in order, find any obstacles or bad technique habits you may have developed and get past them.
My approach is holistic - we'll work on technique, rhythm and time, ear training, sight-reading, chords, scales, and theory. We'll hone your chops with exercises targeted to your specific goals and needs. You'll come out the other end knowing your instrument, making your own music and even gain some self-knowledge, along the way.
