About Sophia
Music has been the center of my life since I was five years old, and for the past 6 years, I’ve shared that passion as a dedicated piano tutor. I hold a Master’s degree in Music Education, which gave me the tools to simplify complex concepts for junior students while still challenging my college-level learners. My experience spans from teaching the absolute basics to K-12 students to helping first-year bachelor's students polish their technical juries.
I’m particularly proud of my "Digital Innovation in Music" certification, which allows me to teach students not just how to play the piano, but how to master synthesizers and MIDI keyboards for modern music production. In my online lessons, I use a multi-camera setup so you can see my hands from different angles, making the learning process visual and intuitive. My students have gone on to win local competitions and, more importantly, have developed a lifelong love for the instrument. I believe that a strong foundation in classical technique is the key to playing any style of music, and I am committed to helping you build that foundation through patient, professional, and engaging one-to-one sessions.

In my virtual piano studio, we move at your pace while maintaining a steady climb toward mastery. I provide one-to-one live instruction that covers everything from hand positioning and sight-reading to complex rhythmic patterns. I tailor every lesson to the individual—if you want to focus on a specific genre or technical exercise, just let me know the topic beforehand and I will prepare the sheet music and digital tools for our session. I specialize in teaching both traditional Piano and modern Keyboard/Synthesizer applications, ensuring you are prepared for recitals or contemporary band settings.
