About Loretta
American History has been a passion of mine ever since I could remember. I grew up with a family who loved differing time periods throughout history which gave me a great opportunity to dive into their libraries and learn everything I could . I knew from a young age that I wanted to pursue a career in American History whether it was teaching within a grade school, becoming a professor, or tutoring. Throughout high school and university I would tutor fellow students with their history courses. Seeing others succeed in a subject that I am so passionate about makes me feel fulfilled. History is what created our nation and in turn molded each individual into who they are and who they will become.

American History is a passion of mine and I love to spread my knowledge history, specifically American History, to others. I cater to the learning needs of each students individually and make learning about history fun and interesting. History has shaped not only nations but the people within those nations as well. We are all products of our nations' and personal history. With this knowledge it helps students to understand that history isn't something that just happened in the past but it is something that surrounds us everyday. History is what we make it, therefore I connect my students lives into every lesson. It connects them to the past and creates an interest and bond which in turn helps them to learn and retain the information.
