I typically hear the phrase “Why didn’t my math teacher show me it in this way?,” which shows I know what students lack and understand how to fill the void in their understanding. I am more social than your typical math teacher and teach/tutor with newer methods and a better sense of enthusiasm. I find the need to inspire students on why we learn and favor understanding over memorization without sacrificing efficiency
