About the lesson
I know what it's like to not understand...
That's why when I taught physics professionally, I made sure to help students grasp the content by going beyond jargon and showing them the simplicity of the subject matter. Physics and math become fun when you know what you're doing, but useful when you can do that without sacrificing rigour.
I use high quality texts, real-world examples, animations, and other means to put together a curriculum fit for any student.
- All Levels
I was bullied for my difficulty in understanding physics. No matter what I did, it just seemed like I couldn't get kinematics, calculus, or electricity & magnetism. But when given the chance to work in a research context, my curiosity drove my success. Things began to click, and the opportunities kept coming.
I have since published a paper with scientists from MIT, Dartmouth, and Princeton. I have worked as a research student at the University of Chicago with the founding director of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, and tutored students at Berkeley and UC Davis. I'm a space junky, and love seeing students attain their academic goals.
