About Filip
Hi! My name is Filip and I'm an astronomy student at the Jagiellonian University. My path to where I am today was neither linear nor easy. Thanks to this, today I not only teach mathematics and physics, but above all, I understand how a student feels when they "don't get it" despite their best efforts, and how demotivating being overwhelmed by the material can be for further learning. I've been helping others learn for as long as I can remember—I was always the person my friends would come to for an explanation of "black magic". This taught me patience and the ability to find ten different ways to explain the same thing. I know both failure and success, which is why I can motivate someone who feels they "can't do it". I'm also quite fluent in English.

My priority is to keep us up to date with the school material – this will help you feel instantly relieved during lessons and tests. We fill in gaps from previous years on the fly, only when absolutely necessary. I use Active Recall techniques and simple physical analogies to help visualize difficult mathematical and physical concepts.
For elementary school students (6-8) and high school students (basic and advanced).
Motivational filter: I work with people who want to make a difference. You don't have to be brilliant, but you have to be willing to try. If you're looking for someone to "sit" with you for an hour because your parents told you to – please find someone else. If you want to learn something for real, or at least try to – I invite you!
