About Kara

Educated at the University of California, Irvine in Psychological Sciences, I am highly Experienced & Structured.

I am an experienced academic tutor dedicated to supporting the homeschool community. I myself am a homeschool mom, and my children are all accelerated early high school graduates and special admission early college entrance students! My experience is not only professional, but personal.

Growth Mindset and Socratic, Inquiry-Based Learning: Instead of just giving formulas, I ask targeted questions that guide students to figure out the why behind the math, ensuring deep conceptual mastery.

I have received over a dozen awards and honors for my work from:

From counting fundamentals in Kindergarten to algebra in 12th grade, I provide the perfect balance of structured learning and engaging exploration tailored to your child's unique pace.
