I have known Dinka for well over a decade; she has helped me through countless personal and professional quandaries. I can name the qualities that make her a great friend and mentor: patience, understanding, loyalty, cheerfulness, perseverance. The list goes on, but I can say for certain that these qualities, coupled with her intelligence and education, can help anyone get through the toughest problems in academia.
