About Tiffany
I teach with multiple approaches, if a specific way is not making sense for a student, we adapt and try a new way! I do not assign 'busy work', all assigned work is always reviewed so you can learn more effectively and I can evaluate how you're progressing. I am a caring and understanding person, yet also have high expectations for my students to achieve because I know they can do great things!

A am most qualified to teach students in 3rd - 7th grade in mathematics. I find students learn best when the content is either catered to their interests or learning styles. I take efforts to learn the student in order to teach them to the best of my capabilities and make the learning impactful and long lasting. I fully believe in a slow release approach; being fully hands on when students are learning a new topic, and as they gain confidence and independence, slowly stepping back to allow them the chance to practice. I also strive to spiral content rather than learning it for one lesson and moving on,new learnings should be practiced over many days even if we are still adding more new learning. Lastly, I only have students complete work that I intend to give them feedback on. I then adapt lessons based on reviewing their work depending if they are showing mastery of a topic or maybe are not there just yet.
