About Carly
I love teaching and helping students understand the beauty of math! I’ve been teaching for the past 5+ years now as a middle school teacher and a high school algebra teacher, including 1 year of virtual teaching. I love getting to know my students and their interests and trying to relate what we learn back to that, but also just to build a strong rapport and professional relationship with my students.

I aim to make my lessons relatable and engaging with a lot of time set aside for one-on-one support going over math problems together. I love getting to know my students and using their interests to make my lessons even more engaging. I’m also very flexible with how I structure my lessons so I am happy to help with homework or classwork instead if you’d rather focus on that. I love using online tools like IXL, Desmos, Deltamath, and more to enhance online learning and get more math practice.
