About Anderson
I am a high schooler that has been in advanced math courses all my life. I have a passion for teaching and have been teaching my peers unofficially since elementary school. I am hoping to get my doctorate in mathematics and become a professor teaching mathematics in college. I have been in mentorship programs and other student leadership programs as well. I hope to have the privilege of expanding my teaching and tutoring career while helping kids who may need my help.

I focus most of my lessons towards understanding the way math works instead of just memorizing formulas. I want my students to understand math conceptually and how to apply what they learn. I will use public curriculum and research whatever test they are preparing for to best help my students be prepared for any and all math related questions.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
Anderson is an outstanding student and an incredibly patient and talented tutor. He is ranked in the top 10 of his high school class, maintains straight A’s, and scored a 1450 on his SAT. His passion for mathematics is obvious in the way he explains concepts clearly and encourages others to succeed.
What makes Anderson special is his calm personality and natural ability to teach. He works well with students of all ages and learning styles, and he genuinely enjoys helping others understand difficult material. While math is his strongest subject, he is very well-rounded academically and able to help in many areas.
As one of five siblings, Anderson has developed patience, responsibility, and strong communication skills. He is dependable, kind, and mature beyond his years. He plans to major in mathematics and eventually earn his PhD to become a college professor, and I truly believe he has the talent and dedication to achieve those goals.
I highly recommend Anderson to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and encouraging tutor.View more recommendations
