About Michael
I have graduated from the Mathematical Physics program at the University of Waterloo with minors in Astrophysics and Pure Mathematics. I have experience tutoring students at Sheridan College where I worked as a math learning assistant and at the University of Waterloo where I worked as an undergraduate math teaching assistant grading first year math courses' assignments and tests.

My lessons are focused on the goal of helping the student understand the material being taught in their class. I like to ensure students' fully comprehend the material before moving onto the next topic. Oftentimes, patience and the ability to explain things in different ways are the skills I apply to achieve this. I also like to do practice questions with students to help them apply the concepts being learned and then modify problems to see if the student understands the material deeply enough to respond to the changes.
