About Pedro
My name is Pedro Venturi. I have a degree in Economics from USP. Master in economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. I worked since the beginning of my master's degree as an assistant professor in the undergraduate courses at FGV. I also have experience as a private teacher for higher education and MBA. I teach classes in Calculus, Linear Algebra, Analytical Geometry, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, and Elementary Mathematics (high school). My classes are totally focused and adapted to the needs of the students. I can help in your preparation for exams, following the menu of the discipline you are taking, answering questions, explaining concepts, and correcting exercises. If it is of interest to the student, I can also design a course that addresses all topics that the student wants to learn, indicating the bibliography, preparing lists of exercises, and teaching the concepts clearly. Due to the pandemic, classes are preferably given remotely using applications such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. The materials used during the class (presentations and exercise lists) will be sent to the students. After classes, I am available to answer any questions regarding the exercises or concepts covered by email or WhatsApp. If the student is from Ribeirão Preto, in exceptional cases, it is possible to schedule face-to-face classes. Classes last 1h or 2h depending on the students' needs. The hours are flexible. I am available to teach on weekends.
