About Eric
I graduated with a BSc degree in Mathematics at the University of Warwick and an MSc in Computational Finance at UCL. I am working as a machine learning engineer at the moment, and am very keen to share my knowledge of mathematics with keen students.

My teaching methodology revolves around the two sides of learning maths: understanding and practice. I focus first on making sure that my students understand the basics of a new concept, by teaching from first principles or building on concepts already mastered. Then, I will introduce a few examples to explore the concept further. I will give my students questions to solve and focus on where they struggle the most, until the topic becomes second nature to them. My lessons are typically 2 hours long, each lesson focuses on one topic. Students are encouraged to raise other questions they are struggling with, and I will go through with them at the start or the end of the class. My lessons are suitable for any students who are keen to learn. I focus on SPM/I-GCSE and A-Levels/STPM or equivalent maths and additional/further maths.
