About Conor

I've been passionate about mathematics my entire life, and have been lucky enough to be able to pursue the passion to the highest level. Surprisingly, I've found that my chances to teach mathematics have been some of my most fulfilling times during this pursuit.

Any student, regardless of level, knows how hard it can be to seek help in math. I find it incredibly rewarding to be able to sit down with a student, and overcome the roadblocks that they are getting caught on in particular subjects, especially those that I've come up against myself.

About the lesson

My name is Conor Meade. I completed my BSc in Mathematical Sciences at UCC four years ago, and am currently finishing up my PhD here also.

I am very familiar with undergraduate mathematics courses, either from taking the classes myself a few years ago, or delivering lectures and tutorials for these modules myself. I consider myself very capable of delivering grinds in any class relating to Mathematics, or Applied Mathematics.

Generally speaking, when working with a new student in a certain module, I will familiarise myself with the course content, expected module outcomes, and past exam papers, and center my lessons around these, with extra focus on areas the student is particularly struggling with.

Typically, I aim for lessons to last for around an hour, but I am flexible.
