I am a mathematics and computer science student studying at Arizona State University, and avid audodidact (self-taught learner) that very much enjoys explaining concepts with both rigor but warmth to reduce any feelings of math anxiety that you may have.

A standard lesson will involve me first asking my student some easy questions to get a flavor for where they're at, and better individualize the teaching process. I will focus on asking questions to elicit the student's own problem-solving spirit with both adequate time to think and encouragement--I think that many teachers don't give their students enough time to think for themselves--so this is an important goal of mine, to have my students thinking for themselves in these small, patient steps.
