About Emilio
I am an entering freshman at UCLA, hoping to major in atmospheric and oceanic sciences. Through my high school's dual enrollment program, I graduated from Moreno Valley College with an associate's degrees in Math & Science and Social & Behavioral Studies. I was a student tutor and math teacher's assistant at my high school for two years, where I helped many students complete and prepare for assignments, from the smallest worksheets to study guides for final exams. As a math teacher's assistant, I was a permanent tutor for all the students, where I aided them in homework and any knowledge gap they had.

My lessons are open to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and/or needs help in algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, and introductory calculus. From my past experience as a math teacher's assistant, I have learned that carrying a growth mindset is vital for a student's success in any subject. This, along with numerous examples and analogies, is something I hope to show in my lessons to help students succeed in mathematics. (Please note: Due to COVID-19 pandemic, I can only offer online (webcam) lessons for the time being).
