My name is John, and my approach as a Mathematics tutor is focused on clarity, structure, and confidence-building. I believe students learn best when complex ideas are broken down into simple, logical steps, so I adapt my teaching style to match each student’s pace and level of understanding. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice to ensure concepts are fully understood before moving on.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material, followed by the introduction of a new topic using step-by-step explanations and real examples. We then work through practice questions together, gradually increasing difficulty, and finish with independent problem-solving and a short recap to reinforce key ideas. I regularly check understanding and adjust the lesson as needed.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my analytical background and patient, structured approach. With a strong foundation in data science and problem-solving, I help students understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the method works. My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, GCSE and A-Level learners, and anyone looking to strengthen their Mathematics foundations or prepare for exams.
