My teaching approach for Mathematics is designed to give you a thorough understanding of advanced calculus. I cover multi-variable calculus, including partial derivatives, chain rule, directional derivatives, gradients, tangent planes, and extreme values with real-world applications in optimization. I teach multiple integrals, including double and triple integrals in various coordinate systems (cartesian, cylindrical, spherical), and applications like center of mass and moments of inertia. I cover vector calculus in detail, including vector fields, line integrals, surface integrals, divergence theorem, Stokes' theorem, and Green's theorem, with applications in physics and engineering. I also cover partial differential equations, including wave equation, heat equation, and Laplace equation with boundary and initial conditions. I use physical examples from fluid dynamics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics to make concepts relatable. I provide step-by-step derivations, solved examples, and practice problems for each topic. I assign homework that includes both theoretical and numerical problems. I conduct weekly tests and provide detailed feedback. I maintain a progress log and offer extra help when needed. My goal is to prepare you for advanced scientific and engineering courses.
