I’m Samaara, a 97%+ maths board exam achiever with a genuine passion for making maths clear, engaging, and less intimidating. I understand the challenges students face because I’ve been in their shoes — and I know how to break concepts down so they finally “click.” Whether you’re aiming to push your grade higher, strengthen your basics, or just stop feeling lost in class, I’ll guide you through with patience, clarity, and real-world examples that make maths feel relevant. My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to your learning style, ensuring that each session leaves you more confident than when you arrived. I offer both online lessons and face-to-face sessions in Leamington Spa, and I’m committed to helping every student reach their full potential. With me, maths stops being just numbers on a page — it becomes a language you can understand and use.

About the lesson

I believe anyone can master maths if it’s taught in a clear, relatable way. I break complex ideas into small, logical steps, and use real-life examples — from shopping discounts to sports scores — to show how maths is everywhere. My lessons focus on building both understanding and confidence, not just memorising formulae. Each 60-minute session blends explanation with active practice, so students can immediately apply what they’ve learned. I also use past papers to strengthen exam technique and help students spot the “trick” in tricky questions. Typical GCSE Maths Lesson Plan (60 mins) 10 mins: Recap of previous topic with quick-fire questions 20 mins: Step-by-step explanation of today’s concept (with diagrams, examples, and shortcuts) 15 mins: Guided practice on typical exam-style problems 10 mins: Independent problem-solving while I give targeted hints and feedback 5 mins: Summary, top tips, and a mini-quiz for retention
