About Adiba

Hi! I’m Adiba, a Math tutor who genuinely loves helping students grow in both confidence and ability.

I’ve always been passionate about learning and understanding how things work, especially in Mathematics. What motivates me to teach is seeing that moment when something that once felt confusing suddenly makes sense to a student. I know that math can sometimes feel overwhelming or frustrating, and I want students to feel supported rather than judged. My goal is not just to improve marks, but to help students feel capable, calm, and confident when facing problems.

I have several years of experience working with students of different ages and learning styles, so I understand that everyone learns differently. I take the time to explain concepts clearly, break problems into manageable steps, and create a learning environment where questions are always welcome. I believe mistakes are part of learning, and I work with students to turn those moments into progress.

I teach because I truly care about helping young people reach their potential — not only academically, but in building self-belief and resilience that stays with them beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

• Teaching methodology
I use a structured, step-by-step approach that focuses on deep understanding rather than memorisation. I identify learning gaps, break down complex problems clearly, and teach effective problem-solving and exam strategies. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and adapted to each student’s learning style to build confidence and independence.

• Lesson length
Standard lessons are 60 minutes, with 90-minute sessions available for senior students and exam preparation.

• Qualifications & experience
Over 5 years of tutoring experience and 2 years of classroom experience. Strong background in Mathematics with university-level study. Experienced in supporting students with different ability levels, including those needing extension or additional support.

• Student levels
Year 10–12 students across Australia, including those preparing for school assessments and major senior secondary exams such as VCE, HSC, QCE, WACE, SACE, TCE, as well as general exam preparation, foundation strengthening, and high-achievement extension.
