About Annelise
I would like a career in teaching so I'm looking to get experience, as well as helping students who either struggle understanding maths or who are aiming high for future exams. I received 9 GCSEs ranging from 7-9, including a 9 in maths. I studied maths, biology and chemistry at A-level and am now studying towards an undergraduate degree in Biomedical science at University of Surrey. I have previous experience in tutoring at GCSE level and I would like to expand the levels I work at, to also helping younger years also.

I am available for any length lesson and can be flexible with my schedule. Lessons would generally be in afternoon/evenings (after school) and I am also available at weekends. I am free to teach secondary school students, including GCSE. Lessons would consist of explaining concepts, demonstrating examples, and then going through practice questions. For GCSE students, I am able to provide past papers and mark them outside of lesson time.

Annelise tutored our daughter during her GCSEs and was absolutely fantastic. She has a really good understanding of the syllabus and managed to find new ways to help aid revision. Even though the lessons were for maths, Annelise was able to help with various other subjects, particularly chemistry. Annelise set exam questions after every lesson and marked them before the next lesson. She was able to work around our constantly changing schedule and was very adaptable with lesson timings. I cannot recommend her more.
