About Charlie

I offer competitively priced online 1 to 1 maths lessons. I have the following experience... 4 years' experience as a university lecturer at the University of Chester 7 years' experience as a private tutor Qualifications... Mathematics PhD student at the University of Chester Distinction - MSc Mathematics from the University of Chester First Class Hons - BSc Mathematics from the University of Chester Since the age of 6, I have had a passion for maths and music, and I have continued studying both ever since. With experience working in schools and being DBS Checked, I offer Maths tuition to learners at a wide range of levels from Primary to A-Level. Away from maths, I have achieved an ARSM Diploma in Piano and am studying towards Grade 8 Saxophone.

About the lesson

Maths is often considered boring, mainly because students cannot see how a topic can be used in the real world. I often try to teach my students about how maths is the most important skill and topic in the world today. From smartphones containing fractals to the trigonometry in the nature around us, maths can be interesting, beautiful and very useful. Students just need the right tutor to teach it. (I mean me)
