About Tisha

Hi! I'm Tisha, and if there's one thing you should know about me—it's that I live and breathe human behavior. From studying Psychology since class 11 in Calcutta Girls’ High School (ICSE), to earning my Honors in Psychology from LPU, and now pursuing an MBA at Chandigarh University—I’ve always been driven by curiosity about people, emotions, and the invisible forces that shape our minds and society. But here’s the part that makes me different: I’m not just here to "teach chapters"—I’m here to help you think sharper, feel deeper, and grow wiser. Coming from a home where emotional intelligence was nurtured (my mother is a counselor), I’ve learned that real education is a conversation—not a monologue. My aim is to help students not just score better but understand better. I want them to become more confident, analytical, and grounded in their thinking. That’s because my sessions are equal parts structured and intuitive—tailored to suit each student’s pace, style, and goals. About the lesson

My Approach as a Teacher

My teaching method is empathetic, interactive, and concept-driven. I firmly believe that Psychology and Sociology aren't just academic subjects—they’re windows into understanding people, emotions, society, and ourselves. I aim to make every class feel like a conversation rather than a lecture, using real-life examples, case studies, and visual aids to deepen understanding and make abstract concepts relatable.

Class Structure:

-Introduction: Quick recap of the previous class + overview of today’s topic

-Core Concepts: Broken down into digestible parts, often using diagrams or real-life analogies

-Discussion: We explore how the topic connects to real-world events, your syllabus, and your own experiences

-Q&A + Summary: Addressing doubts, summarising the topic, and assigning reflective/home tasks if needed

-Additional: Help with writing research/Term papers, Psychometric testing and will also provide notes if required ( I personally prefer assisting the student in making their own notes as it helps in learning better and faster)

My classes are flexible depending on the student's learning pace, exam goals, and interest areas.

-High school students (Class 11–12) following ICSE/CBSE/state boards

-Undergraduate students studying Psychology and/or Sociology

-Adult learners with a genuine interest in human behavior, mental health, or social sciences
