About Madeleine
Hi! My name is Madeleine Aucoin. I have a Bachelor of Science in Environment (Marine Biology Concentration) and a minor in Organismal Biology. I am now a Masters of Biology student at Concordia University. I found my love of teaching through my years as a tutor and through my role at McGill University educating students how to code. Additionally, I have over three years of research experience, which has grown my passion for science. My favorite subjects are chemistry, biology (both cellular and organismal) and statistics. My interests include being by the ocean, playing guitar and biking.

With over two years of experience tutoring university, high school and elementary students in biology, coding, statistics and chemistry, I am prepared to tutor any student in need of academic help. I use a flexible teaching style, adjusting to every student's learning needs and using visual and listening tools to increase their absorption of materials. Additionally, I create practice questions that match their teacher's question style. I have over three years of research and coding skills and am more than happy to incorporate these in lessons if it helps reach the student's goals.
