About Simon
Hi! I'm Simon, a recent McGill grad in environmental science. I've worked as a professional tutor for five years, with students of all ages, from elementary to university. I graduated in the Faculty of Arts and Science at McGill, earning high marks in university-level science and math courses as a part of the environmental science program. I also have experience working with students with disabilities––learning is for everyone.

Science and math can often be the most mystifying school subjects. I aim to take abstract, convoluted ideas and break them down into tangible, simple parts. Encouraging students to be able to verbally explain their thought process, rather than simply produce the correct answer is essential to ensuring real learning. Above all, I believe that learning math and science doesn't have to be stressful, but can be enjoyable and rewarding!
