My teaching methodology focuses on building deep conceptual understanding. I begin by identifying what the learner already understands, then introduce new concepts using simple, real-world examples to make abstract ideas more relatable. I encourage active problem-solving through guided practice, where I solve problems alongside the learner and gradually reduce support as confidence grows. I also emphasize “why” a method works, not just “how” to apply it, to strengthen long-term understanding. Finally, I use regular feedback and short practice exercises to reinforce learning and identify gaps early.
My lessons are tailored to both beginner and advanced math students who want to broaden their knowledge of mathematical concepts.
