About Jack
I received a 'first-class' Mechanical Engineering master's degree from the University of Liverpool, a member of the 'Russell Group' in the United Kingdom. Having worked in research and design roles I have experience in the application of Mathematics and Physics to the solution of real-world problems. I deeply enjoy my subject and am in the application process to pursue a PhD in Fluid Mechanics.

This is a tough time to learn and so it's important to identify the challenging topics for each student and act a pillar of support in their learning while away from the classroom.
When teaching, I want to first establish a motivation for why a particular topic is useful and interesting. From there, I like to develop an understanding of underlying principles and how they can be used to solve problems from different angles.
