About Andres
I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona. I graduated in 2018 and have about 1 year of professional experience in Industrial Manufacturing. I'm an avid reader of various topics, including math, physics and philosophy and am interested in going to graduate school in the future.

First and foremost, what one should expect to gain entirely depends on your specific goal. Is it simply to improve test scores? Or is to get a deeper understanding of the concept? If the former, then I'm no stranger to what it takes to pass difficult engineering exams that require free response calculations. If the latter, then one could benefit from a more intuitive exploration of the material through a "genealogy " of the topic's development. In either case, the lesson is catered to the desired goal.
Having had plenty of exposure, good and bad, from university professors to K-12 teachers, I will try to customize the lesson to the type of pupil and their abilities. This requires first to assess their level of understanding, as well as getting to know the pupil's strengths and weaknesses. From there, I would have a lesson structured with a small prepared presentation where I demonstrate the topic followed by relevant practice problems.
My references for the presentations will mainly come from text books that are relevant to the requested topic alongside any supplementary material I find to be useful in teaching the lesson including images, animations, etc.
