About Andrew
I’ve always had a love for mathematics, science, physics, and all things engineering. Here are some notable credentials for you to consider.
- Governor Honors Program '61, Physics.
- Former special needs tutor for algebra/arithmetic.
- Top 5% of class (~480 Students) in HS.
On top of my academic success, I also have extensive interpersonal skills which I’ve developed for more than 6 years.
- Extensive organizational leadership from HS band (Section Leader, Brass Captain, Facilities Coordinator). Responsible for ~260 students and all of their gear.
- Planning and organizational experience from HS Track and Field (Head Manager and Systems Tech). Responsible for managing both the team and technical aspects of the team. Learned valuable experience in planning and exploring unfamiliar concepts.
- Several other leadership roles in honor societies do Science and Math.
These positions helped me become a well-rounded, successful student leader. I can assure you that working with me will be a breeze!

These lessons are fit for middle to high school level students who are taking anything from basic math classes such as algebra or mathematical reasoning all the way to more advanced courses such as precalculus or calculus 1. If you’re unsure of whether I’m right for your student, feel free to shoot me a message!
I enjoy personalized, one-on-one sessions with students. I prefer to have materials on hand before arriving at the lesson so that I can prepare and possibly review topics that I may not have seen for extended periods of time. Always willing to learn something new to better help your student!
A typical lesson may include looking over school materials or homework, understanding how their teacher wants them to work through problems, and then giving them some alternative methods if they struggle with what is being taught in school.
